Position Overview
-
This position is a hands-on Executive Housekeeper role for multiple brands within a unique hospitality entity in the Greater Grand Forks region. This position ensures standards are upheld and the cleaning and inspecting of all hotel rooms, event venues, and public spaces.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinates checkout, clean and vacant suite status with the front desk, meeting room needs with sales and marketing, and work orders for repair items with maintenance.

Inspects all rooms to ensure they have been cleaned and furnished according to Company SOPs. Completes and files Suite Inspection Forms.

Ensures all storage areas are locked when not in use.

Scheduling and approving daily timecards.

Takes end-of-month inventories and requisition supplies.

Conducts closing duties to ensure all carts are left clean and stocked. Collect and verify Suite Attendant assignment sheets and communicate any discrepancies to the front desk.

Conducts opening duties by prioritizing workload and assigning schedules to Suite Attendants, Inspectors, Laundry, and House Personnel. Check carts before opening to ensure that they are clean and properly stocked.

Coordinates with other departments to fulfill special guest requests.

Educate department personnel on emergency procedures, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), safety precautions, and safest work habits.

Ensures the neatness and cleanliness of the laundry room.

Issues all supplies and linens.

Has a thorough working knowledge of approved company housekeeping methods and cleaning techniques; utilizes this knowledge to train Suite Attendants in accordance with company SOPs.

Remains aware of any and all potential security problems and reports them to your supervisor and/or the GM/MOD.

Trains Department personnel in the appropriate use of supplies, cleaning agents, and equipment, according to manufacturer guidelines, at the request of the Property Care Manager.

Develops and implements stain treatment and a linen discard process.

Carry out reasonable requests by management.
Position Details

Knowledgeable of company standards for cleanliness and safety.

Experienced in cleaning a variety of furnishings, fabrics, and surfaces.

Ability to train, and coach others, comfortable reporting violations to supervisors.

Knowledgeable about the property’s layout, facilities, and services so that questions can be answered by guests.

This position reports to the President of 322 Hospitality Group. The hours expected in this position will vary by business needs and team scheduling with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

There is a 90-day probationary period for this position. We encourage regular communication with your supervisor during this period to ensure you fully understand these expectations and solicit the feedback necessary to be successful. Formal reviews will take place on an annual basis. Communication is key for this role to be successful, as well as the success of the 322 Hospitality Group.

Physical Requirements

Able to walk, climb stairs and stand for 5 hours at a time, ten hours total.

Able to withstand the outside elements, cold and heat.

Able to work a varied schedule including holidays, weekends, and nights as the business dictates.
